Bredon Cottage is located on the edge of the cliff, overlooking the Tuhyme valley and the oldest Afromontane forest in South Africa. You can literally see forever! The outside boma is a great spot to have a braai and enjoy the view.

Bredon cottage is located adjacent to Applegath garden, which is one of the first original gardens in Hogsback. The Gardens are approximately 4 ha in extent, and we justifiably take great pride in them. The garden has a rich bird life and you can lose yourself along the very many delightful pathways. As guests of Bredon cottage, you are welcome to stroll in the garden and along the stream. 

Bredon gardens are filled with exciting surprises , ranging from enchanting pathways to seasonal streams and waterfall. 
Below the winding staircase is the large , natural pool with a view to feast your eyes on .

4. The natural infinity rockpool

The rockpool gets its water from the natural mountain stream, which waterfalls into the pool. It looks out over the valley where you can can sip on your drinks and enjoy the feeling of being isolated and surrounded by your very own  garden of Eden!

5. You have a whole house all to yourself

Despite Bredon Cottage being named as a cottage, it is in fact a spacious and comfortable house. It has been decorated tastefully and offers  creature comforts  for an upmarket stay!
